Target Dress Challenge

Earlier this year, Target carried this “Little House on the Prairie” type dresses.  Lots of people, including myself, thought that it was a joke.  I mean, really?  Who would wear something so ugly on purpose?  Some people decided to have photo sessions, and labeled them the “Target Ugly Dress Challenge”.  I liked the idea, and decided to have a session of my own.  I put out a call in one of my Facebook groups, and found a model.  I was concerned that I wouldn’t because it was such short notice.  I found a model, Dani, and provided her with the details.

We met at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock on a Sunday afternoon.  It was the Sunday after the awful ice and snowstorms that hit Texas.  The day was a beautiful sunny day, and the weather was perfect.  I told Dani the aesthetic, and she went with it.

I was so inspired by the session that I purchased another Target dress.  Now, I just need to find the right model.
