And Now for Something Different

During this journey back to photography, I am opening myself up to different photographic themes.   This doesn’t mean that I’ve changed my subjects.  I’m still photographing women and helping them honor their journeys.  However, different genres open my eyes to seeing how some women want to document their lives fearlessly, and I am here for all of it!

In the Spring, I participated in a Steampunk Photo shoot.  I must be transparent and admit that I don’t know a great deal about the steampunk genre.  I like the costumes because they’re different, and I’m all about different.   When I was working with the ladies, my vision was to highlight not only the wardrobe, but their personalities as well. Afterall, that is still part of my “why” – helping women honor their journeys.
