This is the second stylized shoot I participated in that Carissa has arranged. I wasn’t familiar with the theme. I simply wanted to shoot! The session was located at
With these types of shoots, Carissa assembles a team of vendors to complete her vision of the session. There are professional HMUAs, stylists, vendors, and models. Photographers pay a fee to participate. The sessions are kept small so that photographers aren’t competing for shots.
The session was held at Bull Creek, and it was the perfect backdrop for the session. There’s an area behind a large boulder that looked like a room. The colors were beautiful fall-themed and stunning. We had a bride and groom, and an editorial bride.
When I attend these sessions, it to gather content. I also try different lighting set-ups, if possible. For this session, I utilized my 105mm. I had it evaluated at Precision Camera, and the focus was spot on.
